Every year for the last five years, Stafford Borough Council have hosted the Community Awards and it is back for a 6th year! This awards night presents a fabulous opportunity to celebrate the great work that people of Stafford Borough are doing in our community, and every year Stafford Industrial Supplies sponsors one of the awards.
Stafford Industrial Supplies are spreading the word about this event and need your help! They would like everyone to have a think about a person or a group in the local community who deserves recognition for their great efforts and nominate them for a Community Award this year.
What type of person or group can be nominated?
- someone who gives up their own time to help others
- someone who has set up a local lunch club or foodbank
- a project that promotes a healthier lifestyle, like a walking club or a cook and learn project
- a business or group which contributes to a healthier environment through litter picking, recycling projects, keeping your community clean and tidy or has taken action to conserve wildlife
- a project that encourages learning
The awards are open to individuals, community groups, schools, voluntary sector organisations, community interest companies and public or private organisations working hard to contribute to the wellbeing of their community, and deserve recognition.
