Take on the Derby Cathedral Abseil for Rainbows in 2026!

Calling all daredevils and those with a head for heights! Are you ready to take on an unforgettable challenge while raising vital funds for Rainbows?

Our charity abseil is returning to Derby Cathedral on Saturday 3 October 2026, giving you the chance to experience one of the city’s most iconic landmarks from a whole new perspective.

Your challenge begins with a climb of 189 steps to the roof of Derby Cathedral’s iconic tower, where you can pause to take in the expansive views across the city. Then comes the moment you’ve been waiting for — harness up, take a deep breath and brave the 212ft abseil back down!

It’s an incredible challenge, a fantastic experience and, most importantly, a chance to make a real difference to babies, children and young people across the East Midlands.
