NetworkIN Terms and Conditions

  1. General
    1. These Terms form a contract between the Advocate detailed overleaf (“You”) and NetworkIN Limited of Daisy Bank House, Leek Road, Cheadle, ST10 1JE registered in England and Wales (CRN: 9341611) (“Us” and “We”).
    2. We reserve the right to revise these terms from time to time. Any changes shall be communicated on our web site and it is Your responsibility to note them. Your continued attendance at meetings or renewal shall be deemed acceptance of any changes.
  2. Duration of Membership
      1. Your membership commences on the start date in Your application acceptance email and unless terminated in accordance with these Terms shall continue for a fixed period of 12 months.
      2. Periods of membership may be extended by any period of medical leave (approved in advance by Your Team Principal). During the period of such leave, Your membership will be suspended but Your seat will be kept for You.
      3. In other circumstances (e.g. maternity leave) a non-transferable voucher may be issued for any unused period of membership, redeemable upon Your return to Your home team or other team with a vacancy. Your seat will not be kept for You.
  3. Teams and Team Meetings
      1. Only one Advocate per sector may join a NetworkIN team.
      2. Team meetings are usually held fortnightly and are 2 hours long. You must arrive on time and stay for the duration of each meeting.
      3. If You cannot attend, You must arrange for a standIN to attend on Your behalf. This cannot be another advocate from within Your home team.
  4. Advocate Fees and Payments
      1. You are required to pay:
        1. a joining fee (paid annually or monthly);
        2. a meeting fee for all home team meetings held, whether or not You attend; and
        3. an annual renewal fee.
      2. Regular fees must be paid using our on-line system. Bank transfer payments will be accepted for the annual (single payment) only.
      3. Fees are non-refundable.
  5. Membership
    1. Membership is non-transferable, save where fees have been paid by Your employer, Your membership may transfer to another employee.
    2. You may apply to transfer Your membership to another NetworkIN Home team if that new team has a vacancy in your sector. You must pay a renewal fee but your initial term shall be extended by the unexpired period of membership or your original home team.
    3. We reserve the right to terminate Your membership in the event of:of:
      1. Your persistent non-attendance;
      2. Your non-payment of any fees due; or
      3. Any other serious or persistent breach of the Advocate Code of Conduct.
    4. If You wish to renew Your membership for a further fixed period of 12 months, You must confirm Your intention at least 30 days before the due date. If you do not do so, Your sector will be marketed and attendance of a guest from the same sector will be permitted during the last 30 days of Your membership.
  6. Advocate Code of Conduct
    You agree to the following:

    1. You will attend at least 80% of home team meetings per annum;
    2. You will attend an advocate induction workshop within 90 days of Your application being accepted. This workshop will be held at a time other than your usual meeting day/time;
    3. You will not say or do anything that competes with a fellow Advocate of Your home team or the Advocate of another NetworkIN team when visiting that team;
    4. You will use your best endeavours to provide no less than six quality referrals from outside of the network per annum;
    5. You will use your best endeavours to bring no less than four bona fide guests from outside of the network to Your home team per annum;
    6. You will provide a quality product/service at the price quoted;
    7. You will promptly follow up on all referrals made to You by a NetworkIN colleague;
    8. Using the INsight system, You will record all business invoiced because of being an Advocate of NetworkIN;
    9. You will use the NetworkIN Advocate contact lists solely to pass referrals.
  7. Data protection and Intellectual Property
    1. We will respect the privacy of Your data under Our privacy policy which can be found at www.networkin.uk/privacy.
    2. You will keep Your data up-to-date via your Advocate INsight area.
    3. We may use Your data to promote Advocates’ products or services via any method We deem appropriate.
  8. Miscellaneous
    1. This agreement shall not constitute or imply any partnership, joint venture, agency or relationship other than the contractual relationship expressly provided for.
    2. We do not guarantee or give any implied or express warranties regarding any goods or services supplied by Advocates.
    3. These terms shall be interpreted under English Law and all disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
