What is a networking event?
There are many types of business networking. The most successful events focus on referral marketing as a core strategy.
Meetings will take place every couple of weeks and use a structured schedule where participants have the chance to present information about their business and the solutions on offer to clients, to everyone in the room.
Refreshments are usually available at face-to-face events – hot and cold drinks or a breakfast, lunch or light evening dinner. The food and drink on offer will depend on the meeting time and venue.
As well as a short minute pitch from all attendees, a more extended member presentation and a section where people share referrals passed and appreciation will form part of the agenda. A period of open networking where you can get to know the other participants will also form part of most referral marketing meetings.
